        Original inhabitants in Phuket were Negrito and Sea gypsy .Later they were Indians, Thais and Hokkien Chinese immigrants. Finally, Thai people settling down and adapted various cultures to identity of the Phuket sequel to the present.

        The important annual tradition in Phuket are The Phuket’s Heroines festival; Thao Thep Kasattri and Thao Sri Sunthon which will be held on March 13 yearly .There will be a sacrifice to both, the celebrations and many other activities in order to praising the bravery of both and to commemorate historical events that Muang Thalang was defended from Burmese troops. Besides, The Phuket’s Heroines festival, there are also other important traditions as follows:
