The beach is situated in the open bay and considered one of the longest beaches in Phuket. This area used to be a place for tin mining. Currently, it has been developed into a resort area. Laguna Phuket, one of Asia's largest resort complexes, and other hotels are situated in the north of Bang Tao Bay. In the south of the bay, tourists love to swim and relax. For those who love snorkeling and diving, there is a beautiful coral reef in the north of the bay.
Travelling to Bang Tao Beach
        You can visit Bang Tao Beach by car and motorcycle. From Surin Beach, take a right turn and drive about 2 kms. Or, start from the Dusit Laguna Resort Hotel, take a right turn and follow the road to the beach.
