Patong Beach
        Patong beach has a very wide curved bay, with crystal blue water and a beautiful sandy beach. It is suitable for all kinds of water sports. Patong Beach is also famous for entertainment and nightlife which offers all types of entertaining activities. Patong is the only beach in Phuket which provides perfect facilities for tourists including hotels, resorts, tour companies, department stores, and entertainment places. It is a great place for shopping, but you need bargaining skills to get a reasonable price.
        Patong Beach is only 15 kms from Phuket town. Follow Wichit Songkram Rd. or Highway No. 4020 about 9 kms.and turn left to Highway No. 4029. Continue about 6 more kms. to the beach. The road to Patong Beach is very curved and steep.
Travelling to Patong Beach
        Travellers can reach Patong Beach from Phuket town in 3 routes by car or motorcycle. From town, drive pass the Surakul Stadium and it takes about 25 minutes to Patong Beach. Another route is via Karon Beach, about 20 minutes. You can also go from Kamala Beach which takes about 20 minutes.
